Missions Department (March 1984 – June 1986)Led the department’s long-range strategic planning effort and managed the implementation of the agreed upon plan. Recruited, hired, and provided training and supervision for personnel at all levels in the department as it grew from six to twenty-six people. Developed computer systems and supervised installation and testing. Developed financial controls to provide better accountability. Director of I.V. Student Training and Missions (July 1980 – April 1984)Managed this effort, which recruited, trained, placed, and debriefed college students who served in crosscultural internships around the world. Led in the expansion of the program as it grew from a regional program sending 35 students out each summer to a national program sending out over 4,000.
