Focusing on hedge funds, private placements and financial

investment advice.

Responsible for developing new business opportunities

through which the Vast Technologies can be effectively and

profitably applied.

Chief Operations Officer

Served as operations manager in this Research &

Development, Intellectual Property start up which is seeking

to optimize and commercialize a new combustion

technology. Responsible for coordinating intellectual

property, engineering/technology development, marketing,

investor relations, and administration for this cutting edge

energy research and licensing company.

Dec. 1999 – Jan. 2005 Prudential One Realty Goshen, IN

Sales Associate (1999) Broker (2004) and Development Counselor

Consulted in the sale of residential real estate; over $1MM

per year for last four years. Bill and Karen work closely

together in this aspect of their business. Consulted with

property owners in commercial development plans for

properties.

Sept. 1999 - Present John Haller Institute Goshen, IN

Director

Developed and implemented research strategy for studying

the integration of Biblical Principles into business and

commercial enterprises. Performed field research and wrote case studies.

Oct. 1995 – Sept. 1999 Square Deal Engineered Tooling Elkhart, IN

President and Part Owner

Developed and implemented a plan to position this

company as a major player in a dynamic, consolidating

market of tooling design, manufacturing, and service. Led

marketing & sales strategy that increased sales from

$2.4MM to $4.7MM in three years, tripling the number of

major customers in a broader diversity of markets that fit the

competency of the company while eliminating two markets

that did not fit. Built middle management team and structure.

Provided team leadership as the team designed and

standardized systems such as compensation, accounting,

information systems, quality improvement, and finite capacity

scheduling. Successfully led the effort to secure registration

for ISO 9001, and QS 9000-TE Supplement. Established

401K / ESOP enabling employees to have long-term interest

in company. Initiated search to find new majority owner and

facilitated transition to new ownership enabling previous

owner to diversify investment portfolio. Led effort to reduce

cycle times from 16 weeks to 4 weeks. Led effort to set up

design center in India significantly reducing costs and

enabling round-the-clock programming and design to help

reduce cycle times.

July 1988 – June 1995 Crown International Elkhart, IN

Director of Corporate Quality (Sept. 1994 - May 1995)

Led the Corporate wide effort to put systems in place

that positioned Crown International as a leading

international electronics manufacturer. This required a

revolutionary culture shift within the company from an

“inspect quality in” approach to a “design and build quality

in” approach.

Director Audio Division Engineering and Manufacturing (Aug. 1993 – Aug. 1999)

Participated in the merger of the export and domestic

audio divisions and led the Engineering and

Manufacturing Departments for this global Audio

Division. Implemented high velocity manufacturing and

quality systems into all parts of this division

enabling continued growth in Sales and Profitability.

Led Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Service and Operations (July 1988 – July 1993)

Managed the start up of this worldwide export division of

Crown International through a period of significant growth in

sales - $5mm to $14mm - and increased profitability.

Recruited, selected, and hired key middle management

personnel and developed a team approach enabling this

growth. The foundation of our strategy was the development

of three core competencies: Synchronous Manufacturing,

Personnel Empowerment, and Concurrent Product

Development.

July 1987 - Present Global Research and Commercial Enterprises d.b.a. GRACE Capital Goshen, IN

Founder and President

Established company to facilitate my involvement in for

profit and not for profit work as a consultant and project

manager. Pursued and involved in various international

trading and investment opportunities doing research and

business development as well as selling commercial and

residential real estate.

July 1980 – June 1987 Inter-Varsity (I.V.) Madison, WI

I.V. International Student Specialist (July 1986 – July 1987)

Served the needs of the international students at the

University of Wisconsin. Led the community friendship

program. Counseled with international students to help them

adjust to their new living situation.

Associate Director of I.V. Missions Department (March 1984 – June 1986)

Led the department’s long-range strategic planning

effort and managed the implementation of the agreed

upon plan. Recruited, hired, and provided training and

supervision for personnel at all levels in the department

as it grew from six to twenty-six people. Developed

computer systems and supervised installation and

testing. Developed financial controls to provide better

accountability.

Director of I.V. Student Training and Missions (July 1980 – April 1984)

Managed this effort, which recruited, trained, placed,

and debriefed college students who served in crosscultural

internships around the world. Led in the

expansion of the program as it grew from a regional

program sending 35 students out each summer to a

national program sending out over 4,000. This included

establishing 21 training centers throughout the United

States.

Nov. 1979 - June 1980 Ed Cresswell, Structural Engineering Co. Bakersfield, CA

Engineer

Under the supervision of licensed structural engineer,

responsible for analysis and design of various commercial

projects.

May 1977 – Nov. 1979 Hodel’s Buffets - Development Corp. Bakersfield, CA.

Vice President Of Development; Assistant To The President

Developed and implemented strategy to expand this chain

of restaurants. Led process with other managers to

determine agreed upon methods and to produce training

manual for equipping employees including development of

various operational controls. Managed the development of

prototype store for future expansion and led in the

construction and start up of this new store. Managed four

stores, one of which included banquet business and gift

shop. Assisted in the development of a small residential

subdivision.

Aug. 1976 – Aug. 1978 Mission Renewal Team, Inc. Pasadena, CA.

Founder and Director

This organization was a ministry to the local church and

college campus Christian student groups imparting a vision

for international Christian service.

Aug. 1972 - June 1973 Globe Laundry & Dry Cleaning Bay St. Louis, MS.

Assistant Manager and Route Driver

Apr. 1972 - June 1973 Trinity Christian Community New Orleans, LA.

Inner City Staff

Coordinated the purchase and renovation of property.

Assisted in the development of a training institute to train

community lay people and full time urban workers.

Aug. 1970 - Apr. 1972 Chevron Oil Company New Orleans, LA.

Construction Engineer

Responsible for all aspects of off-shore oil field related

construction projects including analyzing needs, evaluating

alternatives and determining best solution given proper

operational and financial criteria. Once best solution decided

upon, responsible for design, construction (utilizing

independent contractors who bid for jobs), and follow-up

service.
